This model of a file shell and internal mussle was made on request from by the Natural history museum in Stavanger, Norway. The model was made by combining a hand made sculpture with a physical shell specimen. 

The internal mussle of the file shell was sculpted directly into a physical specimen from the natural history museums own collection.
